The short version: SavedSafe checks your computer without sending your files, file names, or report anywhere, and this website does not track you.

The SavedSafe app

• SavedSafe runs entirely on your computer. It reads information about your files and backups, such as file names, sizes, and folder locations, to write your report.
• It does not upload, copy, change, move, or delete your files.
• Your report, the list of files with no backup, and the diagnostics file are saved on your own computer. They stay there unless you choose to share them.
• The report does not connect to the internet. Its fonts are built in.

This website

• This website does not use cookies, advertising, or tracking scripts.
• If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is remembered in your own browser. It is not sent to us.
• The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, for example when optional paid features are added, the changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
